What's it all about?Well our love of ska started around '79 seeing Madness play The Prince on Top of the Pops. From then on we never looked back! Been with the sounds ever since, through 2Tone, 3rd Wave and the onsurge of ska-core. There seems to be a revival of trad and dirty reggae which we are loving.
So what about Northern Soul? Never really got it when I was younger... however, after several nights at Soul on the Sea in Bournemouth we kind of got hooked on it. There is a real crossover on the scene of the NS and ska and yet we really struggled to find a station which reflects the whole scene, so we made our own.
What do you think - we love it at Button Down Towers, but we're a bit biased.
