Geraldo de Aquino, este seareiro das lides espíritas, foi quem conduziu os processos de aquisição da Rádio Rio de Janeiro e de transformação da mesma em uma emissora espírita de rádio. Geraldo nasceu na cidade de Santos Dumont, em Minas Gerais, no dia 14 de março de 1912. Ainda católico praticante, Geraldo participava do programa “Hora Espiritualista” dirigido por João Pinto de Souza, na antiga PRA-3, Rádio Clube do Rio de Janeiro, em 1937.
