Madeline Edwards is the latest artist to reimagine a lost demo for Apple Music’s Lost & Found Radio, taking the busbee- and Jetta-written song “More” and making it her own. Edwards tells Apple Music that she initially wasn’t sure she connected to the song, which grapples with needing more out of a relationship, as she’s in a “healthy” and “happy” relationship with her husband of nearly three years. But as she listened back to the track, a bigger meaning emerged. “It's like I'm asking for more of life or I'm asking for more from God,” Edwards tells Apple Music. “So I was able to kind of put myself in that position where I was able to still emote the same emotion from this song, just maybe not having a [romantic] relationship aspect of it. But that's why the song's so special.
