Community Radio, Misc, USA
WNUC is fresh onto the airwaves, so NOW is the time to join the team and lend your support!
With stories from inside the buses of our broken transit system, to protests outside the Rosa Parks Federal Building: WNUC’s local and syndicated coverage promotes social justice, solidarity, and visionary activism.
Community radio is made when local people produce and broadcast their own programs and participate in operating the station. It is a community space for people to meet and collaborate. It is extraordinarily fun and often life-changing, and leads to individual creativity & collective empowerment. Participants find it extraordinarily satisfying, not just to make radio in this unique fashion, but to also to help transform community life.
TUNE IN and join us in building community through communications!
